For years I have written scripts, books and everything else on our kitchen table, in various cafés and generally anywhere – now at last it will be happening somewhere specific, namely in this shed. It has almost nothing in it apart from a desk, chair and some PJ Mask toys – and it’s internet-proof which means I really can get something done, hooray.

PJ Masks launched in China this month – in the first week the episodes were viewed 150 million times, I’m told. What an incredible number – well done to these fine pyjama-wearing heroes.

Just back from Seoul, where I was talking about writing at a conference of Korean animation producers organised by KOCCA. A great audience, interesting questions and it was fun to be simultaneously translated into Korean.
