I love writing children’s TV. Some of the shows I write end up broadcast all over the world and are seen by millions of kids, which is very exciting. Some are just seen in the UK and I love that too.

I’ve written tons of episodes, and I’ve head-written, story-edited and developed shows too. PJ MASKS is my big project at the moment but here are some of the shows I started out with, ages ago:

You’ll know this man. He builds stuff. I wrote stacks of scripts for him and his pals.

This was one of the first shows I wrote for. It’s about a bunch of bath toys who come to life. My first story was about a frog who wanted to grow hair.

WHAT\’S YOUR NEWS? and all related characters, names and indicia are trademarks of and © Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. 2010

This show was broadcast by Nick Jr and was about a bunch of ants (and an anteater) who run a news show: in which the news is all about real kids. Another favourite.

My other shows include TRACY BEAKER, THE HOOBS, GIRLS IN LOVE and some other ones that haven’t come out yet (but will). I also created and produced (with Penny Lawrence) a ground-breaking children’s factual programme for Channel Four called THE INVESTIGATORS which was nominated for BAFTA and RTS awards. It featured real kids investigating the world around them from their own laboratory and, in a funny way, it’s helped inspire much of what I’ve done since. Might post a link to some footage of it one day…
